This stop motion video was created by second and third-grade students in the Girls Inc of Alameda County after-school program in 2015. The video showcases the biography of activist and scholar Wangari Maathai. The after-school program focuses heavily on literacy, but I would incorporate the arts into different lessons to strengthen learning and provide additional enggement.
